Board-Certified Civil Trial Lawyer.  Harvard Law Degree.  Multimillion-Dollar Results.  (800) 735-4062 day or night.

Born and raised in Atascadero, California, Joseph Anderson graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with highest honors.  He then obtained his law degree from Harvard Law School, also with honors.  He founded his law firm, Anderson, Pangia & Associates, PLLC, in 1995, and has been in private practice ever since, representing catastrophically injured people and the families of victims of wrongful death.

In 2004 and 2005 Mr. Anderson travelled extensively in India.  He authored a blog, which was later published as a book entitled The Light Within: A Travel Log of India.  Grieving his father’s death amid the slums of poorest Calcutta, he was struck by the nobility, humanity and optimism of the slum inhabitants -- and the gravity of their needs.  He founded the Calcutta Children’s Permanent Fund, providing nutritional and medicinal support to pregnant women and young children in the “City of Joy” slum in Calcutta, immediately upon his return from India.

Mr. Anderson is married to Grace Lin Anderson, a concert cellist and founder of the Triad Chamber Music Society and Young Performers’ Workshop.  So far they have two children, a daughter named Georgia and a son they call Huck.

Mr. Anderson’s interests include creative writing, Ashtanga yoga and flamenco guitar.  He is currently working on his next book, a surrealist allegory entitled The City.
